About the Role

We are actively hiring an Assistant Credit Analyst who will help assess the financial credibility of potential borrowers. In this role, you will analyze financial statements, evaluate cash flow, and determine the level of risk associated with lending. Key Responsibilities

• First and foremost, analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Next, enter, update, and retrieve financial information in the credit application system.
• Regularly assess applicants’ financial statements, focusing on liquidity, leverage, and repayment capacity.
• Evaluate risk by conducting a thorough cash flow analysis while complying with internal credit policies.
• Designate appropriate risk levels and suggest loan structuring based on customer profiles.
• Ensure all approved applications meet compliance standards and audit guidelines.
• Assist with both internal and external audits related to credit files.
• Communicate findings to senior credit officers and prepare reports or presentations as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Prior experience in financial or credit analysis is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and a strong team player.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, statistical packages, and risk evaluation techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Up-to-date knowledge of compliance regulations and market risk factors.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and attention to detail when analyzing financial data.
