Role Overview: Senior Manager – Information Security

We are currently hiring a Senior Manager – Information Security for our Karachi Head Office. This is a full-time, on-site position. The selected candidate will lead the development and implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) across the organization.

Furthermore, this role involves managing cybersecurity strategies, performing network security assessments, and ensuring the overall protection of information assets. Additionally, the candidate will develop security policies, coordinate incident responses, and work closely with multiple departments to maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an organization-wide Information Security program.
• Identify and resolve vulnerabilities using risk assessments and management frameworks.
• Design and enforce information security policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents.
• Lead investigations and establish clear response protocols for data breaches or attacks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, laws, and internal regulations.
• Conduct audits and performance reviews of current security systems and controls.
• Supervise and mentor the information security team, including recruitment and training.
• Collaborate with other departments to align security measures with organizational objectives.
• Keep current with emerging cyber threats, tools, and best practices.
• Propose and manage the security budget and necessary resources.
• Promote security awareness across the organization through regular training.
• Align all security initiatives with the bank’s long-term vision and strategic goals.

Desired Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity, preferably in a banking environment.
• Proven experience in a Unit Head position or two levels below.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in the financial services industry will be considered an advantage.
