Job Description: Cash Officer

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cash Officer. In this role, you will be entrusted with key responsibilities that are central to our daily banking operations. Your attention to detail, time management, and compliance awareness will be crucial in performing daily cash-related functions by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and the ABPL internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• First and foremost, you will act as the custodian of the vault and branch keys. Therefore, you must handle all cash-related tasks with the highest level of care, integrity, and compliance.
• In addition, ensure all cash is handled properly during the day and that the end-of-day balancing is completed without any discrepancies. This must be done promptly to maintain transparency and avoid audit issues.
• Moreover, it is your responsibility to guarantee the timely opening and secure closing of the vault in alignment with SBP and internal bank procedures.
• You must manage the cash vault’s storage and retrieval operations efficiently, ensuring that all handling follows ABPL’s policies and regulatory instructions.
• Furthermore, you will ensure uninterrupted and courteous customer service at the cash counter, addressing queries, processing deposits and withdrawals, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• As part of your role, you will also be required to process and acknowledge the receipt of utility bill payments, maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
